Monitor Expected Backup Uploads
Essentials+ Upload Monitoring is schedule verification in continuous form: it shows whether each expected backup arrived on time, arrived late, or never reached the SFTP account. Open the account and select Upload Monitoring after at least one representative upload has established the expected workflow.

Configure the Expected Schedule
- Choose Hourly, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
- Set the expected upload time and, when applicable, the weekday or day of month.
- Set Tolerance Window to the grace period allowed after that time.
- Set Alert Threshold to the number of consecutive misses required before notification.
- On Essentials+, add Email Recipients, Webex rooms, or Webex direct recipients available to the organization. Community does not send email or proactive notifications.
- Enable monitoring and verify that the status header shows the next expected upload.
The summary card may show Good as its overall health metric while the schedule header shows On Time. Good means the current schedule is on track; On Time is the evaluated outcome for the latest expected upload.
The tolerance window should cover normal DRS duration and transfer variation without hiding a meaningful delay. Start with observed backup timing, then adjust after reviewing several successful cycles.
Interpret Monitoring Status

| Missing | The configured miss threshold was reached | Investigate the source and transfer path immediately |

Verify Alert Delivery
After saving the schedule, confirm that the intended recipients and Webex destinations appear in the configuration.
Use a controlled test window when validating missed-upload alerts; do not disable a production backup merely to force a notification.
When an alert fires, correlate the account's Upload Monitoring, Run History, and Activity Log before changing the schedule. A missing upload can originate in CUCM DRS, authentication, routing, storage, or the transfer itself.
